Beginning this Fall, the audio editing software Hindenburg will be available on all DSC Lab computers and in the Audio Production Studio. Hindenburg is an editor designed specifically for journalistic audio work like podcasts and radio. It’s sleek and simplified interface makes it one of the most accessible audio editors for beginners, but it is also used by many experienced audio producers who value its highly efficient workflows. In this workshop, you’ll get a hands-on introduction to the basics of editing and mixing in Hindenburg and have the opportunity to ask questions about your specific audio needs. Land Acknowledgement

The land on which we gather is the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi Tribe. The Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, comprised of the descendants of indigenous people taken to missions Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautista during Spanish colonization of the Central Coast, is today working hard to restore traditional stewardship practices on these lands and heal from historical trauma.
