Are you wondering how copyright applies to your work? Are you also wondering if and how you can use things created by other people? This workshop is open to anyone interested in copyright basics.

We’ll talk about what copyright is, what is copyrightable, how to get copyright, what your rights are, and how you can use others’ work. This workshop will also briefly cover how copyright appears in publication agreements for those who are thinking about publishing. There will be chances throughout to discuss and ask questions. Scholarly Communication Librarian Martha Stuit will lead this session.
