Have you struggled to keep track of search results and PDF attachments? Do you write your references at the last minute? Have you mixed up citation or bibliography styles in your research papers? Do you need a robust system for organizing all of your references across time? This workshop is open to anyone interested in learning to use Zotero in their research process.

We'll cover the basics of how Zotero works and the useful features for getting started. There will be time for attendees to have hands-on practice. Make sure to install Zotero* beforehand. Martha Stuit, Scholarly Communication Librarian, will lead this online workshop on Zoom.

* Zotero is Free; this video shows you how to install it. Zotero software makes it easy to collect citation information and PDF attachments as you search online. As you build your collection of sources, you can customize the way you organize them. In Word or Google Docs, the Zotero citation plugin lets you insert citations in-text and then automatically creates your bibliographies.
