Do you work with audio for a podcast, film, campus radio, or maybe for a class assignment? Come see—and try out!—the wide range of audio equipment the DSC has to offer to checkout for free. Join Digital Scholarship Librarian Daniel Story for a hands-on show & tell about the various equipment available, the editing software you can find in our lab, and the two recording spaces we have—including the newly opened and fully equipped Audio Production Studio.

The workshop will be held in the Digital Scholarship Commons Lab, on the Ground Floor of McHenry Library. Registration is required.

Land Acknowledgement

The land on which we gather is the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi Tribe. The Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, comprised of the descendants of indigenous people taken to missions Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautista during Spanish colonization of the Central Coast, is today working hard to restore traditional stewardship practices on these lands and heal from historical trauma.

The land acknowledgement used at UC Santa Cruz was developed in partnership with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band Chairman and the Amah Mutsun Relearning Program at the UCSC Arboretum.
