DESCRIPTION:Join the Center for Archival Research and Training (CART) and 
 the Humanities Institute (THI) for the inaugural meeting of the CART 
 Archives Reading Group! We will be discussing the 2021 essay "The House 
 Archives Built" by Dorothy Berry. You’ll be introduced to some basic 
 concepts of archival theory and practice\, and be invited to think big 
 about what archives are\, and what they could be.\n\nArtists\, history 
 buffs\, photographers\, grad students / post docs / faculty / undergrads 
 … all are welcome to join!\n\nPlease read The House Archives Built before 
 we meet in person - you can download the essay from the up//root zines 
 website.\n\n\n\nLight refreshments will be provided. Please register on 
 this page so we can get an accurate headcount.\n\nThis event is
